The Challenge

  • IMO lacked a digital connection with their customers, making it difficult to make, data-driven, customer-centric decisions.
  • Previous efforts to digitalize the customer experience had led to a decline in the quality of service due to payment failures, often extending time at the car wash.
  • Needed to scale marketing efforts across all 750+ locations with a very small marketing team based in the UK.

The Solution

IMO deployed Eagle Eye’s out-of-the-box app solution, launching a multi-faceted proposition to drive digital customer engagement across IMO’s international markets. Key features of our solution include:

  • Digital Stamp Card: Drives customer loyalty and repeat business by rewarding regular visits. Customers receive 1 stamp upon registering an account, 1 stamp for each qualifying sale, a money off voucher after 3 stamps, and a free premium wash after 6 stamps.
  • Pre-Paid Vouchers & Bundles: Allows customers to pre-pay for washes via their app, with options to purchase cost-effective bundles of 2, 3, 6, or 12 washes. Vouchers are stored in the mobile app Wallet and can be redeemed in real-time.
  • Subscription Service: Offers B2B customers a cost-effective monthly subscription with four wash types: Lite, Regular, Frequent & Luxury. Payments are managed by Chargebee, and vouchers are allocated monthly upon successful payment.

In 2024, IMO launched their new app in Germany, featuring a culturally tailored Stored Value proposition. This allows customers to top up their accounts and use the app as a payment method. 

Within the first 7 days of launch, the app reached the number one spot on the App Store—a remarkable achievement for a car wash app!
