A recent report, "State of Voice" by Voxly Digital, revealed that 86% of the UK public had used a voice assistant in the last 6 months. Smartphones were found to be the most popular method for using a voice assistant, with 66% using voice on them, closely followed by smart speakers.

Consumers can "talk to the brand" via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant to retrieve promotions or branded content. The quick-fire voice interaction takes under a minute and helps drives opt-ins and sales.
